A custom home in Jabbeke: Yves and Nancy's construction story

For Yves and Nancy, their Custom Build story began in J

abbeke thanks to a tip from a colleague. "A colleague of Yves was building with Hectaar and recommended we get in touch," they say. Since they already had their own building plot, they were looking for a construction partner with whom they felt comfortable. "We were looking for a company that clicked with us to realize our dream home."

A warm welcome and good feeling

During

the first meeting, that trust was immediately confirmed. "We were very kindly received by Louise and had a good feeling from the first conversation. As a result, the choice for Hectaar was quickly made." 

The design phase also went exactly according to their expectations. Together with the

architect, they worked out their ideal home step by step. "Yves had already drawn our house himself. The architect listened carefully to our wishes and gave valuable tips to make the design even better." For Yves and Nancy, a few things were central: a lot of natural light, an open kitchen, and a practical home where every space is optimally used. "Thanks to the collaboration with the architect, we developed a design that fits us perfectly."

Carefree construction thanks to clear follow-up

Although Nancy initially thought that building would be a stressful experience, the opposite

proved true. "The good follow-up by project manager Sofie and the smooth communication throughout the process always reassured us. It was nice to see our home grow step by step."

Even during the various

decision-making moments, they could count on good guidance. From finishing to furnishing: they were professionally assisted everywhere. "We were always warmly received by the different partner suppliers. We could choose from a wide range and received a lot of advice, allowing us to make the right choices together."

Proud of the end result

Today, Yves and Nancy look back on their

building process with great satisfaction. "Everything is beautifully finished, and the quality of the work delivered is excellent. Sofie's follow-up was also top-notch."

One space stands out for them

. "We are particularly proud of our kitchen. The door to the storage room is fully integrated, which provides a very sleek result. Kaster Keukens did a fantastic job there."

family and friends, Yves and Nancy don't have to think long.

"Absolutely. We would recommend anyone

who wants to build to do it with Hectaar. We received a lot of expert advice, communication was always smooth, and when we had a question, we got an answer almost immediately. The schedules were always correct and worked out in the smallest details. They really listened to us, and agreements were always kept."
