For terraced houses and detached houses, rental prices increased by 5.5%.
The reasons are straightforward: in 2023, it became more expensive to borrow for a home, and investors bought less real estate, while the demand for rental properties continues to grow. Moreover, tenants are staying longer in their homes or apartments. Based on an analysis of the first rental contracts of 2024, CIB believes that this trend will continue in the coming years.
